Art direction
FROM CONCEPT TO REALITY
As an art director in video and live event production, I’m responsible for shaping the visual style of a project.
Key responsibilities include:
Visual Concept Development: Making sketches and mood boards to define the project's appearance.
Set Design: Overseeing set creation, including props and backgrounds, to match the desired style.
Collaboration: Teaming up with A/V and other departments for a consistent look.
Budget Management: Sourcing materials and coordinating with suppliers to work within my client’s budget.
On-Set Oversight: Supervising the set during filming and making changes as needed to maintain the visual vision.
Post-Production Consultation: Helping with color grading and visual consistency after filming.
I play a crucial role in telling the story visually and engaging the audience. Whether it’s a video, a prop, a logo, a stage, or an interior space, art direction requires a deep understanding of aesthetics and an ability to think outside the box.
When I’m developing the look and feel of something for my clients, I’m creating a design that not only showcases the individuality and uniqueness of a brand or concept, but also has the power to inspire and leave a lasting impression. It’s a combination of imagination, skill, and craftsmanship that breathes life into my ideas.
